Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto stated that they are in Moscow today.

Szijjarto said their aim is to ensure that Hungary continues to receive the oil and natural gas necessary for its energy security even during ongoing crises and to obtain guarantees that these supplies will be provided at unchanged prices, adding that Hungary’s energy supply is facing various challenges.

Minister Szijjarto said: “Ukraine has blocked oil transit through the Druzhba pipeline, Croatia is debating our right to purchase Russian oil via maritime routes, and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz during the Iran war disrupted global energy shipments.”
