50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and the Philippines celebrated in Moscow
Moscow, June 2 (Hibya) - The Russian Foreign Ministry opened an exhibition of archival documents and photographs in Moscow to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and the Philippines.
The Russian Foreign Ministry held the opening of an exhibition in Moscow as part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and the Philippines.
The opening ceremony was attended by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade and Co-Chair of the Russia-Philippines Joint Economic Commission Alexey Gruzdev, and Philippine Ambassador to the Russian Federation Igor Bailen.
The event highlighted that relations between the two countries have developed on the basis of friendship and mutual respect.
The parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade and economic cooperation, and enhancing humanitarian relations.
It was also stated that Russia and the Philippines share similar approaches to key issues on the regional and international agenda.
