Metsola: Iran’s new generation wants dignity and freedom
Brussels, January 11 (Hibya) – European Parliament President Roberta Metsola emphasized that Iran’s new generation wants dignity and freedom, and that this is their right.
European Parliament President Metsola stressed that the longing for freedom is inherent in every human being.
Referring to Iran’s new generation seeking dignity and freedom, Metsola said: “In 2026, asking for this is not too much. These massacres must stop. The innocent and the oppressed must be released. Repression must end.”
Addressing girls in the streets, students, men and women, Metsola stated: “This is your time. Know that any regime that blocks communication is a regime that fears its own people.”
Metsola underlined that Europe must understand its duty and the necessity to act, adding that Iran will be free.
