Zelensky: The exact number of casualties is not yet known
Kyiv, January 2 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that during Russia’s attacks on Kharkiv, two missiles hit an ordinary residential area and that the rescue operation is ongoing.
Ukrainian President Zelensky said in a statement: “A horrific Russian attack on Kharkiv. Initial reports indicate that two missiles struck an ordinary residential area.”
Noting that one of the buildings was heavily damaged, Zelensky stated that a rescue operation is currently underway and that all necessary services are present at the scene.
Zelensky emphasized that the exact number of casualties is not yet known, adding: “First responders, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and the city and regional authorities of Kharkiv will provide updates.”
