Ukrainian President Zelensky announced that following the large-scale attack carried out by Russia, rescue and repair operations are continuing in many regions.

Zelensky stated that this was a combined attack deliberately planned to cause as much damage as possible to the energy sector. “Approximately 400 unmanned aerial vehicles and 29 missiles of various types, including ballistic missiles, were used. A significant number of missiles were shot down, but unfortunately there were also impacts,” he said.

Zelensky emphasized that all necessary services have been mobilized to provide assistance and added:

“In total, 12 regions were targeted and unfortunately 9 people, including children, were reported injured. More than ten residential buildings and railway infrastructure were damaged. Partners must respond to all these attacks against life. Russia must be held accountable for its aggression. If there is justice and strength, diplomacy will be more effective.”
