Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Estonian Foreign Minister Tsahkna stated at the Riigikogu that he presented Estonia’s Foreign Policy Report at a time when the old rules of international politics are being tested.

Emphasizing that they must be clear about their goals in times of turning points, Tsahkna said: “Estonia’s foreign policy has one fundamental objective: Freedom. Freedom means that the Estonian people and state can develop freely both at home and in the world. To ensure this, we need international rules based on sovereignty and territorial integrity. These principles must remain the cornerstones of the European and global order. These principles are directly under attack in Ukraine.”

Arguing that Russia’s aim is to subjugate Ukraine and overturn Europe’s security architecture, Tsahkna said: “Estonia will continue its military, political and humanitarian support because a free Ukraine is a geopolitical guarantee for Estonia.”

Drawing attention to the fact that their goal is a just and lasting peace that strengthens, rather than weakens, sovereignty, Tsahkna stated:

“Europe must stand up. A weak and fragmented Europe cannot protect our freedom. This means stronger defense, greater European responsibility within NATO, and strategic confidence in shaping our own security. Eliminating grey zones in Europe is a direct security interest of Estonia.”
