Zelensky meets with Mozambican President Chapo
Kyiv, March 23 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that during his meeting with Mozambican President Daniel Chapo, the sides agreed to cooperate on natural gas supply to ensure Ukraine’s energy security and on technology transfer to strengthen Mozambique’s counterterrorism capacity.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Mozambican President Daniel Chapo aimed at strengthening strategic and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Sharing details of the energy- and security-focused talks, Zelensky said: "We discussed with Mozambican President Daniel Chapo the possibilities of supplying natural gas to Ukraine and opportunities to address security challenges. Ukraine is interested in additional energy sources."
Referring to Mozambique’s interest in Ukraine’s military and technological expertise, Zelensky stated: "Mozambique is interested in Ukraine’s experience and technologies to strengthen its internal security and protect people from terrorism."
Zelensky also noted that civilian projects were discussed during the meeting: "We also discussed possible cooperation in the fields of digitalization and food security. We agreed that our teams will work together."
