Zakharova: It is clear that this is pushing back the possibility of resolving the conflict in Ukraine
Moscow, March 26 (Hibya) - Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated that Japan’s increasing military support to Ukraine undermines the possibility of a peaceful resolution and will be considered a “hostile act.”
According to CCTV, speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Zakharova criticized claims of Tokyo’s cooperation with the Kyiv administration regarding the exchange of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and weapons.
Zakharova said, "Such steps will not be ignored and will lead to harsh retaliatory measures."
Moscow described Japan’s attempts to supply lethal weapons and military equipment to Ukraine as actions directed directly against the Russian Federation.
Zakharova added, "It is clear that all of this is increasingly pushing back the possibility of a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine."
