Yeşilgöz-Zegerius: Russian hackers are targeting internet-connected cameras
Amsterdam, July 10 (Hibya) - Dutch Defense Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius claimed that internet-connected cameras are being used in Russia-linked cyber espionage activities to gather intelligence on military shipments.
Dutch Defense Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius claimed that the Netherlands is a target of Russian espionage activities.
Yeşilgöz-Zegerius alleged that hackers linked to Russia are attempting to collect information on military shipments by exploiting internet-connected cameras.
She stated that the Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD) and the Military Intelligence and Security Service (MIVD) disclosed this method to the public in order to help companies better protect themselves.
