Von der Leyen condemns Houthi attack on Saudi Arabia
Brussels, September 14 (Hibya) - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen condemned the Houthi attack on Saudi Arabia and said the European Union stands in solidarity with its partners in the Gulf.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen condemned the Houthi attack on Saudi Arabia in a statement on her social media account.
Von der Leyen said, "I condemn the Houthi attack on Saudi Arabia. In the face of relentless attacks by Iran's proxies, we stand in solidarity with our partners in the Gulf."
Stating that the European Union, together with its partners, will continue working for safe and free navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and for stability in the Middle East, von der Leyen said, "We all have a stake in this."
