U.S. stock markets posted gains
Istanbul, June 19 (Hibya) - U.S. markets showed a positive performance on the final trading day of the week.
U.S. markets displayed a positive trend on the final trading day of the week. All major indices being tracked recorded gains.
The Dow Jones (DJIA) index rose 0.14 percent to 51,564.70 points. The S&P 500 index gained 1.08 percent, reaching 7,500.58 points.
The NASDAQ index climbed 1.91 percent to 26,517.931 points, while the NASDAQ 100 index advanced 2.48 percent to 30,406.144 points.
The Russell 2000 (RUSS 2K) index also gained 2.12 percent, ending the day at 2,979.766 points.
