Ukraine joins NATO's procurement and security cooperation partnership
Kyiv, October 26 (Hibya) - Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the country had joined the Security Cooperation Support Partnership (SCSP) of the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA). The ministry stated that membership would provide Ukrainian companies with opportunities to participate in NATO contracts and contribute to shaping the needs of Ukraine's defense industry.
According to a statement published on the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs' social media account, the partnership, established in 2025, includes Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom and NATO Headquarters.
The statement noted that, following approval by the Allies in April 2026, the NSPA was authorized to send contract proposals to Ukrainian companies and conclude contracts with them.
The ministry stated that 99 percent of the military assistance provided to Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion had come from NATO Allies. It also reported that the NSPA had mobilized approximately 400 million euros through the Ukraine Comprehensive Assistance Package Trust Fund, with the resources used to provide medical supplies, fuel, and support for critical infrastructure and cybersecurity.
