Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The UAE Ministry of Defense issued a statement regarding the ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles detected by the country’s air defense systems on March 7, 2026.

According to the statement, air defense systems detected a total of 16 ballistic missiles. Fifteen of them were destroyed, while one ballistic missile reportedly fell into the sea. On the same day, out of 121 unmanned aerial vehicles detected, 119 were shot down by air defense systems, while two UAVs fell within the country’s territory.

The statement noted that since the beginning of the attacks originating from Iran, a total of 221 ballistic missiles have been detected, of which 205 were destroyed, 14 fell into the sea, and two missiles hit the country’s territory. In addition, 1,305 unmanned aerial vehicles were detected, 1,229 of which were shot down and 76 fell within the country’s territory. Air defense systems also destroyed eight cruise missiles.

The ministry announced that three people from Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh were killed as a result of the attacks, while 112 people of different nationalities were slightly injured.

In its statement, the UAE Ministry of Defense emphasized that all military units remain at a high level of readiness against threats targeting the country’s security and that all necessary measures will be taken to protect the security and stability of the state.
