Tsahkna: Security is global and our response must be global
Madrid, February 11 (Hibya) - Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna emphasized that security is global in a statement made in Madrid, adding that the consequences of Russia’s war against Ukraine affect the entire world.
Estonian Foreign Minister Tsahkna made comments on global security at a meeting held at the Elcano Royal Institute in Madrid.
Tsahkna stated, "From Elcano's mission to today's interconnected world, security is global, and our response must also be global."
Thanking the Institute's Director Charles T. Powell for hosting the meeting, Tsahkna pointed out that Ukraine is in a critical position for the future of Europe, saying, "Ukraine is the center of gravity where Europe's future is being shaped."
Tsahkna emphasized that Russia's war against Ukraine is not just a regional issue, stating, "Europe's security is closely linked to other regions. Therefore, the outcome of Russia's war affects all of us, whether near or far."
