Tsahkna: Estonia’s support for Ukraine will continue
Tallinn, October 5 (Hibya) - Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said Russia continues to target civilians and civilian infrastructure in Ukraine, announcing that his country will provide 100,000 euros to strengthen the resilience of Ukraine’s energy system.
Tsahkna said in a statement on his social media account that drone and missile attacks across Ukraine continue daily and that more than 15,000 civilian casualties have been documented this year.
Tsahkna claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin aims to deprive Ukrainians of heat and electricity before winter, saying: “He will not succeed.”
Tsahkna said Estonia’s 100,000-euro support will be used to strengthen the resilience of Ukraine’s energy system and support humanitarian organizations delivering essential aid to those in need, adding that his country’s support for Ukraine will continue.
