Highlights from US President Trump's speech:

Now Iran has a new opportunity. They have a chance to eliminate the threat to the United States and its allies. This way, we can have a much safer planet.

We are currently having very good negotiations with Iran. The negotiations started last night and the night before, and I think they are going well. They want peace, they have accepted that they will not have nuclear weapons, but we will see.

We think we can reach an agreement. We will give five days and see where it takes us. And at the end of this period, there could be a very good agreement."
