Tajani: We warmly welcome Montenegro's Prime Minister Spajic and his party
Rome, June 30 (Hibya) - Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani announced that he congratulated Montenegro's Prime Minister Milojko Spajic and the Europe Now Movement (PES), which he leads, on joining the European People's Party (EPP) family.
Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani commented on the integration process of the Western Balkans, the European Union's (EU) enlargement vision, and the EPP political family's decision to admit a new member.
Referring to Montenegro's accession, Tajani said, "We warmly welcome Montenegro's Prime Minister Milojko Spajic and his party, the Europe Now Movement. As of today, they have unanimously joined the EPP's great political family."
Emphasizing the importance they attach to the European future of the Western Balkans, Tajani stated, "We continue to expand and strengthen our commitment to the integration of the Western Balkans, one of the highest priorities for a stronger, more united, and more secure European Union."
