Sybiha: We have many proposals and practical cooperation with Chilean companies interests us
Kyiv, March 15 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said in an interview with Chilean media that Ukraine is ready to accelerate bilateral relations and turn economic and security cooperation into concrete projects.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha met with Chilean media outlet latercera and journalist zagrez to discuss the potential of relations between the two countries, peace efforts, the situation in the Middle East, and Ukraine’s efforts to protect its partners. Sybiha said, “We came with a clear signal: we are ready to accelerate our bilateral agenda. We have many proposals and practical cooperation with Chilean companies interests us.”
During the meeting, topics such as the role of Chilean companies in Ukraine’s future reconstruction, sharing experience in food and security, cultural and educational exchanges, the Vernadsky Antarctic station, and technological cooperation were discussed. Cooperation on mine-contaminated areas and demining technologies was also raised; Sybiha emphasized that 30 percent of his country’s territory is contaminated with mines and that Chile’s experience in this field is highly valued.
