Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha issued a statement regarding the special meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council held in Vienna.
Noting that the meeting took place at Ukraine’s request, Sybiha said: “Today, at the special meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna, Russia’s large-scale missile and drone attacks against Ukraine were discussed. The meeting was held immediately after my friend Ignazio Cassis presented the priorities of Switzerland’s 2026 OSCE Chairmanship.”
Expressing his gratitude for Switzerland’s chairmanship and leadership, Sybiha added: “The OSCE’s ability to respond in a timely and effective manner to any blatant violation of the Helsinki principles is of critical importance. I thank all our partners and friends at the OSCE for their active participation today, for their strong and unequivocal condemnation of Moscow’s ongoing terror, and for their united support for Ukraine’s struggle for freedom and lasting peace.”
