Starmer: Freedom of expression is not the freedom to violate consent
London, January 15 (Hibya) – UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said he welcomed X’s move to ensure full compliance with United Kingdom legislation.
UK Prime Minister Starmer emphasized that freedom of expression is not the freedom to violate consent.
Stating that images of young women are not public property and that their safety cannot be up for debate, Starmer said: “I welcome X’s action to ensure full compliance with UK legislation; this compliance must be achieved immediately.”
Starmer added that if existing laws need to be further strengthened, the government is ready to do so.
