Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said that during the three years of his government's term, Spain has made significant progress in the economy, employment, social rights, and education, adding that the reform process will continue.

In a post on social media, Sanchez said Spanish voters had supported the "agenda of progress" three years ago and that Spain has since become a leader in Europe's economic growth.

He stated that approximately 1.6 million new jobs had been created during his government's tenure, household real income had increased by 6 percent above inflation, and average annual pensions had risen by 2,470 euros.

Referring to energy policy, Sanchez argued that electricity prices in Spain are around one-third of those in Italy and half of those in Germany.

He also noted that maternity and paternity leave had been extended by three weeks, while 235,000 new places had been created in public education for children aged 0–3 and in vocational education.

Sanchez said Spain has become an example internationally in the fields of tolerance, peace, and ethical values, adding: "There is still much work to do. However, our goals and principles are very clear."

He concluded his statement by saying: "We are the government of the people, the government of progress, the government of Spain."
