Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez spoke about the recent acts of violence in the country.

Stating that strict measures must be taken against all forms of violence, Sanchez said, “Sexist attitudes and their most perverse manifestation, gender-based violence and indirect violence, must be eradicated without any excuses or half measures.”

Referring to the news from Navarra and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Sanchez stated, “I extend my deepest condolences to the families of the woman killed in Navarra and the child killed in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. We must put an end to this horror.”
