Rubio announces visa restrictions for individuals linked to cartels
Washington, April 20 (Hibya) – U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced new visa restrictions targeting individuals connected to the Sinaloa Cartel.
In his statement, Rubio said: “We are imposing visa restrictions on 75 individuals from the families or close associates of those linked to the Sinaloa Cartel and sanctioned under E.O. 14059.”
Rubio emphasized that the United States will continue to protect the American people from dangerous drug cartels and deadly narcotics.
