Regional developments and diplomatic contacts between Pakistan and the US
Islamabad, May 11 (Hibya) - Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker to discuss the regional situation, communication with Iran, and bilateral relations.

During the meeting, regional developments and the current state of Pakistan-US bilateral relations were discussed. Dar drew attention to Pakistan’s role in facilitating communication between the US and Iran and expressed hope that ongoing diplomatic efforts would contribute to regional and global peace.
The Pakistani Foreign Minister also thanked the US for its support in the process of repatriating Pakistani and Iranian sailors to their countries via Singapore. The parties exchanged views on continuing cooperation and strengthening regional stability.
