Qatar participates in Arab League ministerial meeting
Doha, March 8 (Hibya) – The State of Qatar participated in the extraordinary ministerial-level meeting of the Arab League Council held via video conference, where Iran’s attacks on the sovereignty of Arab countries were discussed.
According to a statement from Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State of Qatar participated today in the extraordinary ministerial-level meeting of the Arab League Council held via video conference. The Qatari delegation was headed by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi.
The statement provided the following information regarding the meeting’s agenda:
“During the meeting, Iran’s attacks on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of several Arab countries were discussed; these attacks constitute a clear violation of international law and conventions, as well as the principles of good neighborliness.”
The meeting also highlighted the potential dangers of these actions, noting that “the serious risks these actions pose to the security and stability of Arab states and the region were also addressed.”
