Putin: Russia seeks friendship and cooperation with all peoples
Moscow, November 4 (Hibya) – Russian President Vladimir Putin attended the National Unity Day ceremony in Moscow, stating, “We seek friendship and cooperation with all peoples of the world.”
President Putin spoke at the ceremony where state awards were presented to individuals who contributed to strengthening the unity of the Russian nation as part of National Unity Day celebrations.
He emphasized that the sacrifice shown by the Russian people over four centuries ago in defending the country’s independence laid the foundation for today’s spirit of unity. “The solidarity, sense of responsibility, and love for the homeland of our ancestors strengthened the foundations of the state and preserved fidelity to moral values,” Putin said.
Putin added that Russia continues today to defend its sovereignty and dignity through peaceful, creative, and military efforts, noting that representatives from culture, science, and business in different countries contribute to cooperation with Russia.
He said that Russia’s multinational culture aims to create an atmosphere of unity in the international arena based on common values. “Despite challenges and tragedies, messages from Russia will always be a call for friendship and cooperation. We seek friendship and cooperation not only with our neighbors but with all peoples of the world,” Putin stated.
