Putin: Russia is Kyrgyzstan’s main trade and economic partner
Moscow, 26 November (Hibya) – Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that trade and economic relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan are growing steadily.
Putin stated that Russia is one of Kyrgyzstan’s leading trade and economic partners. He noted that in 2024, the trade volume between the two countries increased by 13.6%, reaching a record level of 4.1 billion dollars, with an additional 17% growth recorded between January and September.
Highlighting that most trade transactions between the countries are conducted in national currencies, Putin said: “Approximately 97% of all payments are now carried out in national currencies.”
