Metsola: We are reducing bureaucracy in businesses to boost innovation
Brussels, 26 November (Hibya) – European Parliament President Roberta Metsola stated that the vote to simplify the InvestEU programme provides strong support for innovation and growth for European businesses.
Metsola emphasized that the European Parliament’s vote on a more streamlined InvestEU programme is critical for investment, employment, growth, and prosperity.
Delivering a clear message to European businesses, Metsola said: “We are reducing bureaucracy so that you can increase innovation, scale up, and compete on a global level.”
She added that the process was completed swiftly and that the regulation will support the development of the business environment across Europe.
