Preparatory meeting held in Pakistan for the 81st session of the UN General Assembly
Islamabad, September 15 (Hibya) - Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting to review Pakistan’s program for the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting to review preparations for the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to a statement from Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting Dar was briefed by the Foreign Secretary and the Special Secretary responsible for UN affairs on the draft program, which includes high-level engagements, bilateral meetings and other important activities planned on the sidelines of the General Assembly.
Dar reviewed the draft program and provided guidance regarding priorities and the arrangements to be made. He also instructed that the necessary preparations be completed to ensure Pakistan’s effective participation throughout the high-level session and that close coordination be maintained among institutions.
