Portugal prepares for Ibero-American Community summit
Lisbon, September 24 (Hibya) - Portugal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said preparations are continuing for the summit to be held in Madrid in November within the framework of the Ibero-American Community.
According to a statement by Portugal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel focused on the Ibero-American Community on the fourth day of the high-level week.
The ministry said preparations for the Ibero-American Summit to be held in Madrid in November were discussed. Portugal reiterated its commitment to the Ibero-American Community and stated that it aims for a summit that produces concrete results.
The statement said that strengthening bilingualism, developing cooperation, increasing ties with Africa and enhancing the community's international visibility are among the priorities.
