Plenkovic: We will insist on preserving cohesion and agricultural funds
Zagreb, June 19 (Hibya) - Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic held bilateral meetings with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during his visit to Brussels.
Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic stated that ahead of the European Union Leaders' Summit, he also attended the European People's Party (EPP) Summit and the meeting of the Friends of Cohesion countries.
Plenkovic said that Croatia's priorities were presented during negotiations on the new Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), noting that they would act in line with the development interests of Croatian citizens and all regions of the country.
Plenkovic emphasized that they would insist on preserving European Union funds allocated to cohesion policies, agriculture, and balanced regional development.
