Plenkovic: Bombing of Banski Dvori strengthened determination of Croatian people
Zagreb, October 7 (Hibya) - Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic spoke about the impact of the attack on Croatia's struggle for independence at a ceremony marking the 35th anniversary of the rocket attack on Banski Dvori.

Plenkovic said the Yugoslav People's Army's failed attempt in 1991 to target Croatia's state leadership further strengthened the Croatian people's determination in their struggle for freedom and independence.
Plenkovic said, “The JNA's failed attempt to eliminate Croatia's state leadership further strengthened the Croatian people's determination in their struggle for freedom and their own state.”
Referring to those who fought for Croatia's independence, the prime minister said, “With respect and lasting gratitude, we remember the courage and sacrifice of the Croatian defenders who fought for the freedom we live in today.”
