Costa: MED9 Summit to discuss energy and EU's long-term budget
Brussels, October 7 (Hibya) - European Council President António Costa said in Split, where he is attending the MED9 Summit, that energy, the European Union's next long-term budget and the situation in the Middle East will be discussed.
European Council President António Costa thanked Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković for hosting him in the Croatian city of Split, where he arrived for the MED9 Summit.
Costa said the summit will discuss energy, the European Union's next long-term budget and the situation in the Middle East, as well as other issues that will be on the agenda of next week's European Union Leaders' Summit.
Costa said in his statement, “I thank Andrej Plenkovic for the warm welcome in Split for the MED9 Summit. We will discuss energy, the EU's next long-term budget and the situation in the Middle East, as well as other issues that will be on the agenda of next week's European Council meeting.”
