Colombian President Gustavo Petro made a statement regarding global energy policies and the repercussions of military tensions in the region.
President Petro said: “The world will witness a greater shift toward clean energy, especially with the conflict between Iran and Israel.”
Petro emphasized that this is not merely an ethical issue: “This is not just an ethical matter; oil turns producing countries into battlefields for consuming nations, and it is also a matter of life.”
