Czech President Pavel described Finnish President Stubb as one of the most prominent figures in European politics. Pavel said that Stubb has long drawn attention to the security risks and strategic challenges facing Europe.

During the meeting, the threat posed by Russia to European security was particularly highlighted, and it was emphasized that this issue remains significant regardless of how the war in Ukraine ends.

The two leaders also assessed opportunities for cooperation in education, supporting innovation, and developing trade and investment relations. It was noted that there was agreement on the need to further deepen economic relations between the Czech Republic and Finland.

Pavel also referred to Finland being ranked as the happiest country in the world for nine consecutive years, stating that the country sets an example in many areas.

Pavel stated that the meeting held at Prague Castle was productive and expressed his belief that the partnership between the two countries will continue to strengthen in the future.
