Palestinian Prime Minister Mustafa discusses developments in Palestine with Kallas
Brussels, July 13 (Hibya) - Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa called for increased international pressure to secure the release of Palestinian tax revenues, which he said are being withheld by Israel, during his meeting with European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas.
The Palestinian Prime Minister's Office announced that Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa held a meeting with European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office, the meeting focused on the latest developments in the region.
The statement said that Prime Minister Mustafa called for increased international pressure to secure the release of Palestinian tax revenues that he said are being withheld by Israel.
Mustafa also briefed Kallas on the Palestinian government's reform agenda.
For her part, EU High Representative Kaja Kallas reaffirmed the European Union's support for reform efforts in Palestine and for Palestinian institutions.
