Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemns attack on Nechirvan Barzani’s residence
Ramallah, March 29 (Hibya) - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the attack on the residence of Iraqi Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani in Duhok.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine issued a condemnation message regarding the attack targeting the residence of Iraqi Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani.
The ministry emphasized that the attack was aimed at undermining regional peace and Iraq’s internal security.
Regarding the nature of the attack and Palestine’s position on the matter, the statement said:
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns the attack carried out last night on the residence of Iraqi Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani in Duhok Governorate and considers this attack an unacceptable attempt to undermine the security, stability, and sovereignty of brotherly Iraq."
Reiterating Palestine’s solidarity with Iraq, the ministry also expressed the full solidarity of the State of Palestine with the Republic of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
