New Zealand Prime Minister Luxon sends message of support to the film industry
Wellington, 26 November (Hibya) – New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon highlighted the contributions of the country’s film industry to employment, the economy, and international recognition.
Luxon stated that *“‘A Remarkable Place to Die’ is doing exactly that,”* noting that he visited the film set together with local MP Joseph Mooney.
In his statement, Prime Minister Luxon emphasized that they will continue to support the film sector, saying:
“New Zealand’s film industry provides jobs for our people, strengthens our economy, and showcases our stunning natural beauty to the world. *‘A Remarkable Place to Die’* is doing exactly that — which is why it was wonderful to be on set today with local MP Joseph Mooney. We support this industry because more productions mean more jobs and a growing economy.”
Luxon also added that the film industry holds strategic importance for the country’s economy.
