Macedonian Foreign Minister Mucunski met at the Foreign Ministry with students participating in the College of Europe program and other attendees.

In a statement on his social media account, Mucunski said he outlined his country’s foreign policy approach during a session titled “Macedonian Foreign Policy 101,” followed by an open discussion.

Mucunski listed three core pillars of foreign policy: active contribution to NATO, membership in the European Union and a strategic partnership with the United States.

Stating that his country contributes to regional stability as a reliable ally and supports Ukraine, Mucunski reiterated its commitment to reforms, European integration and full alignment with the European Union’s Common Foreign and Security Policy.

Mucunski also drew attention to the growing role of economic diplomacy, trade, investment and strategic infrastructure projects such as Corridor VIII.
