North Macedonian Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski issued a statement regarding the accident in Switzerland. Noting that there were fatalities and many people were injured in the accident, Mucunski expressed his condolences to the Netherlands.

Mucunski said: “I extend my deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, the Dutch government and the Dutch people.”

Stating that they stand with everyone affected by the accident, Mucunski also wished the injured a speedy recovery. Mucunski said: “North Macedonia stands with the Netherlands on this painful day.”
