Major indices across Asia-Pacific markets continued the day with mixed performance.

In Japan, the Nikkei index rose 3.83% to 71,181.28 points. In India, the Nifty 50 index also gained 0.62% to reach 24,171.75 points. In China, the Shanghai Composite Index increased by 0.36% to 4,125.76 points.

Meanwhile, Australia's ASX 200 index fell 0.54% to 8,760.70 points. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index also declined by 1.37% to 23,090.27 points.

As a result, regional markets posted gains led by Japan and China, while Australian and Hong Kong markets experienced predominantly selling pressure.
