Kyiv, October 4 (Hibya) - German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said Ukraine is facing critical weeks and stated that he traveled to Kyiv to deliver a message of support.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said Ukraine is facing critical weeks for the future of the war and commented on his visit to Kyiv.
Merz said: “Ukraine is facing decisive weeks. That is why I came to Kyiv today with the message: ‘You can count on us.’”
Stating that Germany’s security also depends on the outcome of the war, Merz said: “That is why we are also providing assistance in our own interest.”
