European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Marta Kos met with President Nataša Pirc Musar, National Assembly Speaker Zoran Stevanović and members of parliament to discuss this year's Enlargement Package.

Kos stated that Slovenia's experience and expertise could contribute to advancing the EU's next enlargement process by bringing greater stability and security to the neighbouring region. She said, "The path to EU membership is becoming increasingly clear for Montenegro, Albania, Ukraine and Moldova. With the support of our member states, we can turn the progress made by these countries into concrete steps towards a stronger and more independent Europe."
