Lavrov marks anniversary of Afghanistan’s liberation from NATO forces
Moscow, October 5 (Hibya) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov congratulated Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi on the fifth anniversary of Afghanistan’s liberation from NATO’s military presence.
According to a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov sent a congratulatory message to Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi on the fifth anniversary of Afghanistan’s liberation from NATO’s military presence.
Lavrov said they welcomed the progress made by the Afghan government, particularly in combating terrorism and drug trafficking.
