Lahbib: Reopening all border crossings is essential
Brussels, 28 November (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib said that reopening all border crossings and ensuring aid reaches those in need effectively is essential.
Commissioner Lahbib stated that she was honored to visit the Rafah Border Crossing, a site of symbolic importance.
She emphasized that the ceasefire must continue, international humanitarian law must be respected, and humanitarian aid must reach Gaza without interruption. She added: “Reopening all border crossings and delivering aid effectively to those in need is essential.”
Lahbib expressed her deepest gratitude to Egypt for its support and close cooperation.
