Lahbib: People are dying of hunger in Sudan
Brussels, February 6 (Hibya) – European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib said that the conflicts in Darfur and Kordofan are fueling famine and acute malnutrition.
European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Lahbib stated that people are dying of hunger in Sudan, noting that the conflicts in Darfur and Kordofan are fueling famine and acute malnutrition.
Emphasizing that the deaths are preventable, Lahbib said: “The conflicts must end immediately. Unhindered access to humanitarian aid must be ensured without delay.”
