The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, said that Russia continues to respond to diplomacy with missiles, stating: “We are determined to make this choice extremely costly.”

Kallas noted that they are presenting the 20th sanctions package today, adding that the sanctions have caused serious damage to the Russian economy and that each sanction reduces Russia’s warfighting capacity.

Kallas stated: “Moscow is not invincible. On the battlefield, its army is faltering. Domestically, its economy is collapsing. Together with our partners, applying more pressure and increasing military support to Ukraine can shorten this war.”
