Lahbib: One third of women in EU countries have faced sexual harassment at work
Brussels, Dec. 17 (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib said that one third of women in EU countries have been subjected to sexual harassment in the workplace.
EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib stated that one third of women in EU countries have experienced sexual harassment at work.
Noting that this poses a threat to societies, Lahbib said: “Our next Gender Equality Strategy will set out concrete steps to end sexual harassment and gender-based violence.”
