Minister Katz announced that the Houthi Chief of Staff, who was wounded during the “Firstborn Strike” operation—which neutralized a significant portion of the Houthi leadership in Yemen—died from his injuries sustained in the attack.

Katz said: “Thus, he joined the ranks of the ‘thwarted members of the axis of evil,’ alongside his friends in the depths of hell.”

During his visit to the Houthis Operations Center of the Military Intelligence Directorate (AMAN), Katz thanked AMAN chief Major General Shlomi Binder and other personnel for their efforts against the Houthis.

In his statement, Katz added: “We have made great efforts to eliminate significant threats related to the Houthis, and we will continue to act in the same way against any future threats.”
