Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that the government will approve a new reform of the rehabilitation system for IDF veterans.

Katz stated that the reform aims to strengthen the rehabilitation process for soldiers wounded during their service and ensure that the state fulfills its responsibilities toward them.

He noted that after taking office, he initiated the establishment of the Mor-Yosef Commission to restructure the rehabilitation system for IDF and security personnel, saying the move became necessary due to the sharp increase in the number of wounded in recent months.

Katz said that around 25,000 new wounded individuals have joined the Rehabilitation Department since October 7, and that by 2028 the system is expected to serve approximately 100,000 people with physical and psychological injuries.

The Israeli defense minister described this as a major national challenge requiring a comprehensive transformation of the rehabilitation system, stressing that the state and society will continue supporting wounded soldiers.

Katz also thanked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for supporting the approval of the plan and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich for his cooperation in advancing the initiative.
